I had seen other similiar Hot Rod builds based on crawler chassis, but all seemed to require at least some fabricating and machine tools. It was alot of trial and error, but I was able to build this truck with all off the shelf parts, a drill press, dremel and basic hand tools.
SCX10 Street Rod Build Parts and Summary
1. SCX10 Clone Frame (KYX)

a. Had to be milled out with a dremel to lower the servo. I am currently exploring other options for this part, but made it work.
7. RCAWD 60mm Internal Spring Oil Shocks.
a. Added O-Rings under the piston to adjust height
i (3) in the rear

8. 313mm Wheelbase Stainless Links from (Vanquish)
a. Used Rear Upper links for the Front Lowers
b. Drilled new mounting points in the frame for the front Uppers
c. Used the Front Lower links for the Rear Lowers
d. Custom cut some aluminum links for the Rear Uppers to get the pinion angle.
e. I did not use the Vanquish Rear Lower links

a. Narrowed with the kit from Locked Up RC

11. Tires: 2.2 Proline Super Chain Tires

b. ST Rears but used buggy foams to let the tires sag
12. 1/14 Tamiya Semi Frontend (Xtra Speed)
13. Shock relocation Kit (Gear Head)
a. I drilled the top mount and moved the shocks closer together in order to lower the chassis further.
14. Built the bed out of bass wood from Hobby Lobby and used old HO slot car rails for the bindings between the boards. Mounted the bed to the frame using magnetic body mounts.
15. SCX10 Front Shock Hoops (RPM)
16. 55mm Turnbuckle for steering.
17. Savox SC-1252mg Low Profile
18. Savox SH-0263mg Micro Super Torque for the 2 speed shifter
19. Proline Power Wagon Body
20. Aluminum Center Link mount. Off brand.
21. Drive Shaft Short 85mm (SSD)
22. SCX10 Servo mount.. Mounted upside down on the outside of the frame for light mounts.
