Bull bars are called kængurugitter (kangaroo sticks) in Denmark and are mounted on trucks on Scandinavian routes to protect the vehicle in collisions with deer, bear or reindeer.

On the West Coast at the time, most of the large hauliers such as CF (Consolidated Freightways) were driving a wheelbarrow to assist the doubles and triples to climb mountain highways. Horsepower and torque were no longer like engines. The electric car used a Cummins V-6 engine.

As the name suggests, there are lots of fenced roads around here and the cattle are on the way and you hit so many kangaroos, the reason is that next to the road where the rain flows from the pitch to the table the grass is greener they go to the roadside and the Roos feed them
