At my flying club Ken Eddon said "Aging is compulsory, growing up is optional". I have to confess I didn't really take the option. Scale FPV dogfighting movie, flown in a Dynam Hurricane, with a cast of many from LHMA in Shropshire. Barry Lewis is flying Red 1, Ken Eddon is flying the "eddonmy" raider(s). This video is actually made from two flights on two separate days, spliced together, but since it's not meant to be taken too seriously, I'm hoping nobody will notice. The cockpit FPV footage is recorded from the transmitted video so it's not HD - that's something I need to do something about next season. Red 1 really did crash on take off (it was actually the maiden flight for the model so it was brave of Barry to give it a go!!!). I really did have to belly land in a field in Red 2 after breaking off, because I overshot the landing and ran out of volts before I could complete a go-around. Luckily I got the gear back up in time. So who won Red section or the eddonmy Well I think Ken probably still has a smug look on his face despite the number of times I got him in my cross hairs. I have added some voice and video clips from the movie "Battle of Britain" as links between scenes, and I've used parts of two tracks from the original movie score to add some atmosphere. I don't own copyright to these so if the copyright owners are not happy for me to use the clips in this way, please let me know and I'll take the video down and re-upload without them - no problem.
